About The Artwork
The Leg Movements series is an attempt to capture the strange, ineffable and indescribable feelings and statements we all come across. Deliberately, human figures are limited to legs dressed in jeans and sports shoes, which is intended to show that every common person has access to bizarre feelings, which he is sometimes ashamed of and most often refuses to talk. The references for the paintings were the legs of friends, recorded in various situations, most often at parties and walks. Painted on canvas board, primed with gesso.

I was born in 1979 on the plains of Wielkopolska. I studied Garden Design at the University of Life Sciences in Poznan. I discovered the passion for painting late. Long-time fascinated by great masters, I try to find a match between academism and modernity. In painting, I am attracted the most to improvisation, a story that follows the brush strokes. Experience the long period before painting in confrontation with a new passion causes that I am at the stage of reconciling two realities, two identities which sometimes add to my paintings some collagy character.
