About The Artwork
Being a refugee myself, I wanted to create this piece to portray how interventionism results in terror. The painting depicts the rise of jihadist groups in post-Gaddafi Libya and their persecution of black Libyans. I usually try to do realistic, but with this piece I tried something new. The painting is oil, but the few coins at the bottom, the signature and the peace symbols are done with acrylics. This is the first addition to my War series.
