Light Overcomes the Darkness Painting

Zelensky and the Brave Spirit of Ukraine are 'Time' magazine's 2022 Person of the Year. Vira DG has been working on the portrait of President Volodymyr Zelensky since April 2022 and finished it in September 2022. The picture is an artistic depiction of the courageous defense of the Ukrainian people under the leadership of the brave Commander-in-Chief, President Volodymyr Zelensky! The actual size of the mixed media canvas, also using gold leaf, is 90x120 cm (35.4" x 47.2") and is in the artist's collection. The print of President Zelensky's portrait was sold at the charity exhibition in the USA. "The Art of Kindness" was an exhibition at the William Campbell Gallery, organised with the support of the NGO Free Art Ukraine in October 2022. During the event, guests donated 180 thousand dollars to the Ukrainian Orphanage houses transferred to Poland. The artist dedicates this work to the tens of thousands of brave Ukrainians who are defending their homeland under the leadership of the commander-in-chief of the brave President Zelensky. This is also a tribute to the memory of all those who have sacrificed their lives for Ukraine and its right to be a free and independent country. On the fragment, you can see the inscription "Heroes Never Die - Герої не вмирають!" Within this artwork, the profound message "Light Overcomes Darkness - Світ переможе темряву" is skillfully emblazoned in gold letters, each meticulously coated with 24-karat gold. The artist's signature, VD, also bears the same luxurious touch, creating a harmonious and opulent composition that elevates the artistic significance of the piece.
