About The Artwork

lighthouse in the sea, rocks, ocean, clouds over the sea, cliff, seascape Painting the sea with watercolor is binding two passions together. This is a painting on 300gr watercolor paper and 100% cotton Protected with a totally transparent and ecological spray paint. Packaged with extreme care and attached to a certificate of originality with photo and signature. Painting with watercolor is returning to my first love, its charm is unchanged over time. Its nuances, its transparencies are unique and inimitable. No painting can be reproduced the same with this technique, this adds to its charm. I sign my watercolor paintings at the bottom right always following the painting and I always include a certificate of originality with photo and hand signature.

I am an artist by passion, I love to experiment and try different subjects and methods because painting is freedom. Painting is a way to express my emotions but also a way to rework my moods. My favorite quote "Every artist dips his brush into his own soul and paints his own nature in his pictures" (Henry Ward Beecher) I paint mainly in oil and acrylic but watercolor also gives me a way to express myself. If I need to express myself in a gestural way, I spontaneously use acrylic, often in a material way. The oil technique gives me the power to express my emotions as they change and I can evolve with it. I love its softness and its immense nuances. I always add a touch more material. Watercolor instead is concentration for me, a departure into a world of delicacy and imagination. A theme that I love to paint is definitely the sea. The ocean makes me feel free and I love painting it together with wonderful and important skies, sometimes even a little stormy but always particular. But my imagination always ranges.
