Al deze werken zijn vervaardigd op Canson Montval papier, 300grs. Zuurvrij. Lichtechte verf, Winsor &Newton. De werken zijn niet ingelijst, dat laat ik over aan de smaak van de koper. Wel zo leuk, om deze in een lijst, doch zonder passepartout te plaatsen, zodat de randen van het werk zichtbaar blijven en zo een speelsere sfeer creëren.

Hans de Cleen, who signs his works as CLEEN, was born in Amsterdam, 1946. After secondary school he attended the Gerrit Rietveld Academy from which he graduated in 1973. Since 1975 he works as a professional image maker. Hans de Cleen works mainly in mixed techniques on paper zich as pastelchalk, watercolour, pencil and crayon. Pastelshades occupy a special place in his work. Realism, a unique use of color and subtle application of symbolic elements features his personal style.
