ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by my early summer morning kayaking along the shoreline where the water is shallow at Britannia Bay Ottawa Canada. I hope this painting evokes in the viewer the experience of the flickering simultaneity of being at one with nature. My direct painting style works well using the fast drying acrylic medium, allowing layering and mixing colours directly on the canvas, as one with the process of painting.
