Little AGUA Series Framed! No. 2 Painting

During my experience in the corporate world, the desire arose to do something more tangible, something that gives me peace and harmony, something from the heart. That's how I began to photograph, design, decorate, paint, model ceramics,... even origami. In turn, the practice of yoga, which has been with me for 20 years, and later meditation, took me to India in 2018. A unique, intense and enriching experience, both as a person and as an artist. It was so enriching that in 2019 the Universe gave me the most precious gift, a baby girl. During my journey as an artist I have gone through different stages. The initial one, which is pure learning, materials, techniques and a lot of exercise. Then I started finding a style, a range of colors, and developing a deep admiration for watercolor. Whether I work with pigments, acrylics or watercolors, the washes, the gradients, the drips, the interesting effects, and the precious “magical” accidents are always reborn in me. In 2020, while sadness reigned in the streets due to the pandemic, I was blessed to hold my baby in my arms, which took me emotionally to new places, as a woman and artist. During this time art was my refuge. My best possibility to express changing and contradictory emotions. The AGUA Series were born at that moment and capture the beauty of being alive, being healthy, being parents,… and being able to take a sea bath.
