"Little Love #1" is a vibrant abstract in the the style of abstract expressionism, painted on craft paper (300 gsm). The colours are applied in a loose, spontaneaus style and combined with pencil and / or charcoal drawings, the natural colour of the craft paper is visible and part of the painting. Ready to hang in a silver aluminium frame (Ikea "Lomviken") with acrylic glass (the black frames in the interior examples are computer generated!). Mixed media (acrylic, pencils, charcoal). Signed on the front (on the paper beneath the artwork) and signed and dated on the back of the work. Due to the reflection of the glass I had to take the photographs of painting and frame separately and add them together on the computer, so the signature on the front below the painting is not visible on photographs of the framed painting, but the original has it! The painting is 25 x 25 x 0,1 cm (9.8 x 9.8 x 0.1 in). With frame 32,5 x 32,5 x 2,5 cm (12.8 x 12.8 x 1 in). "Little Loves" are a series of paintings, each 25 x 25 cm, framed and ready to hang. They look very nice in groups, you see some examples in the additional photographs. They are also unique and individual gifts! Please notice, that this offer is only for "Little Love #1".

Abstract, Powerful, Gestural - three words to describe my art! Each of my artworks is truly unique and only one of its kind. MY ARTIST STATEMENT "An abstract painting challenges the artist even more, because it’s an act of creation on the artist's own terms." MY INSPIRATION I find my inspirations in colours and materials - for example in a beautiful deep turquoise mountain lake or in the washed-out grey of concrete in a city. Based on such impressions and inspirations I commence my work and my artwork often comes to life in little series. Each painting is unique and the creation and development of each painting can be a time consuming process, usually lasting many days or weeks and in some cases up to a few months. MY TECHNIQUES I appreciate the manual work of building, stretching and priming my own frames. I really get engrossed in this, it’s the first encounter with a new work and a good start for the creative process; me and the canvas did get familiar with each other. My paintings are acrylic mix paintings, for example, acrylic paint with charcoal, oil pastels, pencils, spray paint and many other artistic materials. Sometimes I combine these materials with collage materials. My pieces of art are created informally. Each step builds on the previous step, leaving room for chance but also for corrections and erasures, until the final finished artwork has evolved as a composition of colour, shape, texture and surface. Each piece of art is truly unique and only one of its kind!
