About The Artwork
I was inspired to create portraits of myself, my family and close friends to record and document a moment in time. I enjoy creating figurative fine art pieces of people in various mediums and techniques. I have tried to show something about each person through the colours I have used or through the objects I have placed within the painting. As a young child, Mark was fascinated by transport. He enjoyed travelling on buses and trains whenever he had the chance. He is now a bus driver, seeing it from a different angle.
