About The Artwork

Pink matter snatches from the reality of the visible world. This is the detail of a naked woman who pops into the surface of our subconscious ... In 2020, I started to work on a new series of works "Pink Matter" - this is the first work of the series. Pink matter - these are our eyewear, this is what we see, eliminating the unnecessary in our overflowing information and visual images of the world. It is the details that are torn from reality, the puzzles that really matter to us. The interesting part is that these puzzles are very different for each of us ...

Born in 1971 Ukraine, Kiev Studied at the National Academy of Arts and Architecture in 1988-1994. Exhibition activity since 1995. About 17 exhibitions, of which 8 are personal. My paintings are an exploration of another reality, of my parallel world. This is near, has a recognizable outline, and may have a different meaning, a different interpretation of thought. I was always attracted to the theme of reincarnation, like Franz Kafka's in the short story Transformation, about a man who turned into an insect one morning. The characters of my paintings are also characterized by reincarnation, they try themselves in different ways. For the last few years, I have been working on the series "Inner Rabbits". In every human being, there is this little entity that symbolizes the soul each of us. However, the inner world of man must necessarily be reflected in his appearance. So "Inner rabbits" gradually in my works began to acquire the external features inherent to them. These are the real Hare-Humans who started their lives. I only help them with appear in different situations, they travel through time and space, with appear even in paintings by great artists of the past. This is an extremely exciting journey and it is still going on. In connection with the war, she was forced to leave Ukraine and moved to Canada for permanent residence
