***** THE ARTIST ***** Eduvina La Condorita is an Austrian artist. She was born in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires. Her father, Oswald Stimm, was a recognized artist for art sculptures. As a child Eduvina was fascinated by this art and have been raised so accordingly. After her time in South America she moved together with her father to his hometown Vienna. In the early 1970’s she attended the famous Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and finished it with a diploma in stage design under Prof. Lois Egg. Eduvina’s paintings have one main aim. She wants to project the happiness of living through her artworks, which are enriched through the artists very own play with forms and a typical Latin American style and mixture. In decades she has created many different genres within her paintings, whilest she conserved her very own artistic profile and style still clearly visuable in all of these works. Playing with forms, backgrounds and colors enables Eduvina together with her skills to create timeless masterpieces. The artists works have been shown in numerous exhibitions. The first solo show took place 1974 in the Gallery Mozart, Vienna. From then on, her oeuvre was displayed in Buenos Aires, Vienna, Salzburg, Bruges, Ghent, San Sebastian, Gomera and many venues more. 1980 she received the Theodor Körner Prize. The price was awarded at the University of Vienna. The prize is one of the Austria’s most prestigious awards in the arts and science. In recent years she has also largely contributed to the conservation of the artistic heritage and catalogue raisonné of her father Oswald Stimm, who was again dedicated posthumous retrospectives and international tribute exhibitions. Eduvina La Condorita works can be found in private and public collections worldwide such as Federal Ministry of Education and Arts of the Republic of Austria national art collection, the Government of Lower Austria, Austria Tobacco Museum, National Bank of Austria and the Bank Austria art collection.
