Magnificent Incredible Painting

Gold has a lot of meaning associated with it. So much so it has been used as currency and even backed the dollar until a few decades ago. I like the idea that it's a beautiful thing and is used to decorate not only our bodies but also our living spaces. The idea that if you ever needed money and had gold jewelry you could melt it down and sell it almost anywhere at it's universal value. You can't do that with many things, it's rare. So I'm using it in kind of an ironic way to create these beautiful images that in essence, if someone thought it was ugly or needed cash they could melt it down for it's material value. So it has this duel purpose that I think is sort of mind blowing...
