About The Artwork
Going for a coffee every day at this pictural fishing village, still indestructive from today's modern high storeys building, inspired me to do a series of painting of these harboured fishing boats. I started with quite figurative interpretations, but as I'm moving along, I will be continuing to move into more abstract expressionism. There is a lot of movement, bright, light and colourful. Acrylic dries quickly, and I prefer to use it, due to my character. I do not have patience and hate to wait. I want to start and finish. But as I move along, I will be using oil paints, due to their character.
