Throughout the world, many types of chess come from the same ancestors, however, throughout history, people have developed rules that make the game very localized, based on geographical and cultural differences. This painting comes from a reference of my friend's performance work, in which two people play chess, one controlled western chess, the other used Chinese chess. Under the traditional rules, of course, the two sides couldn't fight, but then they negotiated a new rule to make the game work… He used it to reflect politics. But I have discovered that behind the political differences, in reality, there is also a fundamental philosophical difference
