"Memories, No Need for Water", She states how fortunate she is to have such a passion for creating. She is turning 70 in November, and doesn't miss a beat in exploring new subject mater and materials. Nancy does not like to tell the stories behind her paintings, but when a gallery owner inquired about the palette shift. Nancy said that happened when her gallery assistant passed away in March. That was her Boxer named Noah. He was always by her side as she created numerous paintings inspired by their walks. The walks now have taken a pastel look, subliminal change. Now she finds herself needing to create the empty vase paintings. Water is not necessary to have memories reflected in the flowers. So now the empty vase or clear vase series is consuming her mind and hands. This is unframed, deep canvas, wired for immediate hanging. 36" x 24" x 2" deep. As I have mentioned on a number of my new pieces. This year has been an excellent one. I just delivered paintings to a company. Of which 12 were chosen for purchase. September 29, 2023 I have a one person show opening and will consist of approximately 30 pieces. October 6, 2023 I will be delivering another 35 pieces for a one person exhibition titles "Facets". During the remainder of 2023 I have been invited to 5 other invitationals which will hang 3 - 8 pieces each. And I am turning 70 in November. During the end of September, 21-29 I will be traveling on business and pleasure. During that one week period I will not be available to ship paintings. All paintings are available until they are marked unavailable or sold. Thank you for your ongoing support .
