About The Artwork
This girl named Meriem is my friend, she is Crimean Tatar, her picturesque appearance, and especially her face profile, inspired me to create this miniature. I want the viewer to see this rich design and feel like the owner of something eternal. I was also inspired by the works of old masters and therefore chose a watercolor and such a small format.

In my work I value ideas, motives and implementation technique. I work in such techniques as: oil painting, watercolor, tempera and graphics.
