About The Artwork
Imagine a carousel outdoors being moved by some mystical force. Here you see a boy holding on to the post attached to the horse on one end (as most carousels do or have) and the heavens on the other end (or maybe not - as there is really no "end" in the skies/heavens). The horse has various embellishments, including the Superman logo and a figure of the Philippines denoting the artist's Filipino pride. The red sky has camouflaged in it a red balloon flying if you "pay close attention". The trees on the sides were intentionally colored gold mixed with various colors to connote the rich natural resources and the diversity of flora and fauna in the Philippines. The ground is well, just the ground.
