About The Artwork

painting silk screen printed by hand unique piece wall installation The paintings in this installation is part of an exhibit on the human body is made up of 13 pieces united and independent at the same time, now broken up thanks to private collections (the trunk of the male body, inspired by the "spear-carrier" of Polykleitos, the arms, legs, hands, the elements of the face such as eyes, inspired by the eyes of Michelangelo's David, the nose, mouth and ears, which are in the collection of the Museum of Italian Generations' 900 Giulio Bargellini - MAGGI. In this painting, the anatomical compostional elements are hands and feet. The technique of silk-screen painting made by hand, with the participation of painting with a brush and spatula, let me suggest an overall picture of the whole, for the effect of flash, direct impact and fast, but also to get closer to detail, material for the preparation of color silk screen thinner (nitro), the effect of trace, left by the thick canvas silkscreen, and for the beauty of this quality soft and warm colors express it at the end of chromatic. E 'was very important to find in the field of composition open, like a great detail, looking for a refined balance between the quality and quantity of colors. At the end of implementation of painting, drawings and silkscreen canvas used are destroyed, giving the work the unique value. The set up is chosen in such a way that the surface of the canvas to come out out of the frame, suggesting an area of wall frescoes, torn from their place of origin and recontextualized in a new situation. I created the installation during the exhibition of personal and collective at the same time "Doppio4Verso" in the "Sala degli Archi", the Archaeological Museum "Aldobrandini Stables", organized by the City of Frascati, Department of Cultural Affairs, in 2002 (text in Catalogue of Giorgio Di Genova, historian and critic of modern and contemporary art). In the autumn of the same year, he was exposed to my personal title "Metamorphosis pathways," built at the Museum Of Generations dell'900 Italian Giulio Bargellini, in Pieve di Cento (Bologna) (as the catalog). In 2004, the works METAPHOR, Superior Group & Inferior Group were on display in the exhibition "Metamorphosis" Evocations, the Academy of Romania in Rome, with the text in the catalog of modern and contemporary art critic Mario de Candia, sponsored by the City of Monte Porzio Catone, Rome Province, Department of Culture, the Embassy of Romania in Roma and Romanian Institute of Culture and Research Humanistic Venice.
