She did it with the poise and commitment of a highly educated woman. She did it it out of duty and free will, not as a spouse to a powerful man. She has been caring and passionate for all of us, even if the Nation was divided and polarized in front of her. She radiates a fire of gold. I wish she would choose to run for President, since I know she would be elected. I painted this painting late 2018, but finished it with the gold in 2019. Why do I use 23K gold leaf, why not go all the way and use 24K gold leaf? I did - and I will continue to use it whenever the brilliance of 24K gold leaf is needed. For this painting I prefer the slightly mellow buttery richness of 23K gold leaf. The painting is signed on the back and with my “e” symbol on the front. The painting continues around the 1.5" sides, so it is ready to hang unframed.
