About The Artwork

I tried to depict four key points we see in the process of describing the heart. This is the third in the series. This represents awareness and quiet consciousness. Although there is a degree of quiet joy and relief in having made sense of the world, it is a point that leads to what lies ahead. It is a point where the conscience within is always seeking something beyond itself. It is that split momentary second before the heart is discovered and yet with no interest or knowledge in a sense for the self at that point. This is the only painting in the series where the human is least concerned about the self. The knowledge and curiosity within to discover new things and to make sense of the world overwhelmingly consume the human mind.

"Caught in a moment’s notice, you find yourself as you experience it, losing only, to time - I begin with Art because art is where everything always always always begins." With a foundation in architecture, Vishnupriya (Vaishu) embarked on a journey that transcends the boundaries of design and delves deep into the soul of our built spaces, and the relationship they share with our body's architecture. “What makes space?” Is a question she ponders deep all the time. Her preoccupation with space is what pushes her to make art. She sees herself getting closer to experiencing the meaning of the physical world by practicing art. Vaishu also uses art as a medium to engage in a celebratory monologue about her day-to-day design-related activities. She is now an Urban Planner by profession and she lets art describe with creativity, the relationships between different physical and human factors that make up the cities we live in.
