About The Artwork

This is the first two meter wide painting I make. It arises from a previous analysis, in which the amount of things I put in my paintings was noticeable; So the idea of the largest painting that could freely capture my artistic concerns. The result is the study of the construction in representation of a naturalistic scene of women on the beach, who look at the horizon. Here an abstract painting is achieved since it has characteristic colors of abstraction and construction and a naturalistic description.

José Aguirre was born on June 19, 1956 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Was a disciple of Pepe Montes who in turn was a disciple of Torres García, the creator of Constructive Universalism, today is considered a great exponent of this current. Constructivism proposes a harmonic system to add symbols that dictate a universal language. His search uses this method and integrates it into the language of naturalism while naturalism merges with constructive abstraction. The expected effect is that the viewer sees a colorful picture with color currents coordinated and as you approach discover a different work with ranges of color and more naturalistic. Oil is the material of your choice since it considers it very rich and allows you to continue developing the painting for a long time. His works are in private collections in Uruguay, Argentina, Germany, the United States and Japan
