Painting: Oil, Color, Paint on Canvas, Wood.
For this painting I must emphasize quality of materials because it's created by artist from the very fondations. Carrier for the painting is linen stretched on the wooden frame (it is not industrial cotton canvas) and it's prepared with traditional impregnation and preparation.
The impregnation consists of 6,5% rabbit glue solution, and preparation is made of also rabbit glue, linseed oil, zinc and chalk powder. In the end, preparation is protected with mixture of rabbit glue and alum.
Oil colours used for this painting are Lefranc & Bourgeois and Maimeri Classico oil colours. Solvents are Tauro odourless turpentine and L&B linseed oil.
The style of painting is formed by putting transparent, semitransparent and slightly opaque smears of oil colour.
It gives tenderness to the painting.
