The title of this artwork means « My remedy against the blues » I started this one working with closed eyes, using different shades of blue with a spatula to cover the whole panel. Then made a composition inspired by my flowers from last summer. Memories of my garden always make me happy!. Working with a spatula for most of the piece made it’s surface smoother than my usual work, but still textured.

I was born in Forestville Quebec in 1963. Living and working in Montreal as a fashion and costume designer since 1981, I started painting more actively in the mid 90's. My inspiration comes from nature, colors, and patterns. I work mainly with acrylics, inks, colored pencils, water colors, pastels, collage, oil sticks and porcelain paint. I take great pleasure in the creating process. My eyes need color and my hands need to make things! I create art that is filled with good energy using a colorful palette, and I love when it brings joy and amazement to the viewer. Most of the time, it is the support, it’s shape or texture, that gives me direction to what technique or mediums I will use, as well as to what subject will be featured. Rarely planed, I enjoy painting subjects taken from nature or abstracts, as well as anything that inspires me and seems worth it at the moment!
