The super moon event on December 3rd, 2017 is the inspiration for this painting. It was a spectacular evening at the studio, the night sky was clear over the city and the street where my studio is situated. I had already been working on a series of forest nightscapes for several months and when I saw the beauty of the city sky I just couldn't resist. This painting is done on a Masonite board mounted on a pine support. The edges have been painted black. The colors are spectacular and are even better in real life. they are intense and visually stunning. I provide a Certificate of Authenticity.
