Contact us.Born in the Loire Valley, France, Isabelle grew up immersed in the forests of Chinon, where her deep connection to nature was formed. After studying at the Atelier Aimé Venel in Tours, she moved to England to expand her artistic practice, receiving a grant from the Arts Council of England in 2002. She participated in major events including Art Fusion and the Birmingham Art Festival, and exhibited in leading galleries in London and Birmingham.
Now living and working in France, Isabelle draws inspiration from forests, trees, and plant life. Her practice has evolved from sky and cloud representation toward an eco-conscious, nature-rooted approach. She forages and grows her own materials, creating handmade pigments, inks, and watercolors, developing a sustainable artistic process deeply connected to the living landscape.
Through her work, she celebrates the beauty and fragility of nature while advocating for its preservation. Her art explores themes of transformation, natural cycles, and our relationship with the living world.
Her work is represented by Galerie Catherine Pennec and Galerie Bokehli.
