About The Artwork
This is an eclectic butterfly using fabric and acrylic and found objects. It's intentionally painted to give a slight sense of movement. Some 3-D texture gives it a tactile quality, as well. It is based upon some pipe-vine butterflies that spend the summer in my yard. Their favorite flower in my yard is the pink zinnia. So I have it drinking nectar from the pink flower. One of a kind. Not printed.
