Mother of God Painting

During a time when I was fascinated with what God or a higher being's face would look like, I created a watercolor series called, Faces of God. I saw this face in a dream like many of my paintings originate from until they are formed onto a canvas, cold pressed paper, or a piece of wood. Her tears could be of sadness, compassion, or even the overwhelming desire to be animate. It's your interpretation and your perception that gives this painting it's meaning and it was my joy to paint it.
