About The Artwork
This is an abstract portrait of mother who is mental health patient. I glued her doctor's medical service receipt with her name and diagnosis F20. I also painted flowers and glued one additional flower cut from my notebook's cover. I hope this painting will help raise awareness about mental health.

Tanja Dimitrijevic is a self-taught artist. She was born on December 14th 1975 in Duisburg, Germany. Her father is Serb orthodox and her mother is Bosnian muslim. When she was 8 years old she moved with her mother to Bihac, Bosnia. When the war in ex-Yugoslavia broke up she moved again together with her mother to Belgrade, Serbia. During the high school she also lived in Czech Republic (Prague, Stupcice u Benesova, Plasy u Plzena). Now she lives in Nis, Serbia with her adopted cat Pipika.
