About The Artwork
Mt. Garfield is a signature feature of the Grand Valley and always a welcome sight. On this day, I went up to a location that overlooks Palisade and enjoyed the epic feeling of waking up with and to this view. I have included stones I found there, and the frame is meant to be a somewhat sculptural complement to this painting, which is made with love and much gratitude for that glorious morning.
