About the Physical Work, origin of the digital file: From the Intricate Worlds series, a 2005 work. Unique, exclusive, original piece. One of the hardest works I've done, taking more than 4 months of daily work on it. On a 1 m diameter panel, where a macro-form was made, I was flowing with the strokes, as in writing, made with a single brush, wider, which I was fine-tuning, as if you fine tune an instrument, in this case, using a razor blade. As the bristles wore out and the brush thickened, a new thinning was needed. As for the ink, another challenge! To get the details I wanted, the ink needed to be in a very precise texture for these strokes and, as time went on, the water in the ink evaporated, which ink had to be refined with a few drops of water. And so it was throughout the entire work process. It is a work to "read with time". The work is disturbingly full of details to play with whoever acquires it. She has no "right side" to be on your wall. Rotating it, and because of our visual perception that creates relationships and meanings within the pictorial forms or spaces, you will see new figures appear, new forms, stories and characters. That's an experience I've worked to give you in this work. Intricate Worlds Series: Textures that tell stories. Stories that tell drawings. “I've always wanted to create and tell stories and drawing is a form of expression that I adopted because I was able to unite the literal with the plasticity of the materials and the gesture of the lines. With my drawings I seek to arouse the observer's curiosity, involving him in the hypotheses, making him discover, in the middle of the texture-figure, unusual scenes, entangled with others, apparently without end. My option for this is the support always big and the details always small”. ___ The most important thing in my artwork of this black and withe graphisms, is the details. They are usually very elaborate pieces and take a long time to be made. The originals of until 20 pieces, I only sell with direct contact, as they are billionaire pieces and very, very special, not seeing anything similar in the whole world. All images are abstract from afar and figurative when viewed up close. That's what makes this series something totally unusual.
