Mushroom Lights Painting

"Mushroom Lights" (acrylic on gessoed hardboard) is an original painting inspired by light, color and nature -- and my love of both hunting and enjoying mushrooms. I hope that you feel led along the path in this painting to the explosion of life and color it expresses. The large size lends an impact to this feeling. The black strip represents soil, and in a philosophical sense represents that which connects and grounds us -- our starting point. Framed, ready to hang with hanging wire attached and 2 bumper cushions. Sleek, etched black, matte metal frame for modern look. Frame is 1" deep, by 7/16" wide. Acid free, 3/16" conservation foam core is placed behind the artwork substrate for extra protection from dust and moisture.
