About The Artwork

A contemporary Painting that fuses oil paints and sand describing my state of uncertainty and perplexity regarding two choices with almost equally favourable options which is art and structural engineering. With a promising drive for both vocations, I seem to be more passionate about one than the other. The Painting triangulates the monalisa Painting, the pallette containing paints, the paint brushes, and the person( signifying me) which simply defines the importance of each to another( a paint brush plus a paint and the person produces an artwork) and the unity which they share forming a triangular bond. At the same time the person backs the painting and the materials and holds a book titled " Structural engineer's pocket book" but at the same time is seen looking away from the book and can't focus which shows insufficient interest in what is placed before the person like she was forced to read it. she is eager to turn back and continue creating art but is expected to also read what is in front of her. There is also a triangulation between her head(forced to read), where she seats and the book she is reading. A state of confusion and uncertainty.
