This painting is a sequel to the series of works titled communion. And it portrays the wisdom or destruction that can come out of a man's MOUTH. A wise king Solomon said, "the words of a wise man's MOUTH are gracious..." and "the words of a man's MOUTH are as deep waters.." Words that comes out of the MOUTH are powerful. It could be DESTRUCTIVE or it could be a BLESSING. A man's mouth can be his greatest ally or enemy. Your mouth can put you in bondage or set you free. Because you are trapped and set free by the words of your MOUTH. This painting is another petition to draw attention to the power of words that comes out of the MOUTH because what you SAY, is what you GET.

Seyi Odukoya is an expressive acrylic painter. He studied art at the Lagos State Polytechnic, Lagos. Emerging with a distinct style that relies on visible and expressive brush works. As an expressionist artist, he uses bright and vivid hues to capture the spirit of his subject employing bold brush strokes that curves into melodious symphony and rhythm that creates soulful meditation for the viewers. One of his works featured in the 16 cityscape ideas from around the world by Mont Marte in Australia. He worked as an IT student at Dreams Art Academy under Gbenga Adeyemi Billyrose and also with Olubanji Osunrinade and Austin Ekhaiyeme of Culture Afrique. Some of his works adorn the walls of Nigeria Television Authority, Victoria Island, Iglesias Hotel, Surulere, Afren Energy, Victoria Island, Lagos. He is widely collected both in Nigeria, United Kingdom and the US.
