About The Artwork

What does the future hold for us? Actual question. We can only fantasize and guess. What I am doing. Children are the future, cows are wealth, balloons are joy, fun and the opportunity to fly anywhere. Not so long ago, the mask was associated with a holiday, theater, carnival, positive, but today, masks have acquired a different meaning. I chose the Pierrot mask because it combines our past, present and future. Pierrot's mask is at the same time joy and sadness, positive and negative. Feelings that contradict each other, but are not torn apart. Surrealism of contradictions. Does the child appear or disappear? Are the balloons flying up or falling down? Is Pierrot smiling or crying? Is the sky beckoning or threatening? The child under the mask is the unknown. The child under the mask of Pierrot is our unknown future, the future of which only God knows.

Kraineva considers each viewer as a co-author of her works, as part of the stories, emotions, fantasies and complexities of each picture, like herself. Her imaginative depictions of people and her landscapes show a particular softness and technical sophistication. Studied. Painting, workshop Fedorov in Kemerovo Art School. The artist does not limit himself to one direction. The main goal is to engage the viewer in the creative process. In the paintings there is some improvisation, which invites the viewer to go their own way. Find your story. The artist is a co-author. The spectator is a co-author .... And this is another, exciting story. Incredibly emotional, positive, textured, philosophical, lyrical, fantastic, colorful, meditative, not ordinary, recognizable, simple, complex, bright, dark, fragrant, fanned by sadness, filled with happiness ...... These are a few expressions from grateful viewers.
