ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was originally exhibited in Porto, in the 2018 exhibition "Tension". It is now in a private collection. The piece explores mortality, and the sharp divide that people seem to see between the living and the dead. Here they are shown as one continuous stream, no different from one another, except in state. Those who have departed depicted as skulls, and the phallic motif representing the carnality of the living.

She has had four solo shows to date, and her work is held in collections in Dublin, Lisbon, Mozambique, Porto, and Los Angeles. She trained as a printmaker and graphic designer, and has released a line of beautifully illustrated silk scarves, though painting was always her first love.
