About The Artwork
While in the alley of a Miami Beach Gallery I found a bunch of old pinup books in a box. They were so alluring I thought of the best way to represent them and Miami in a vibrant modern way. Miami is a city of color, sexiness, and glamour with a history in Art Deco Architecture and culture. By making this colorful piece with vintage pinup books, gold leaf, and acrylic I hoped to capture the spirit of the city in a fun and exciting way.
