About The Artwork

Some crypto beauty for Christmas and New Year. This Snowflake consists of encrypted phrases from the famous classic Christmas songs. The words are encoded into 16 digit hexadecimal code. A reference to blockchain technology and famous Matrix Rain. It is also a reverse operation to machines trying to simulate humans - my irony. The beauty of the code and music - the Snowflake is playing songs, like a disc. Or like a buddhist prayer wheel (not comparing, it's not even close, but it's also one of inspirations). The words the Snowflake is "singing" (from 2 classic songs): It's the most wonderful time of the year It's the hap-happiest season of all Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! Snowflake, Snow, Bitcoin, Hexadecimal, Digital snow, Nft, Encrypted, Nft gift, Christmas, Merry Christmas, Xmas, New Year

I do like exploring global and fundamental concepts of existence and their manifestation in our present being. I am inspired by philosophy, metaphysics, human history and culture. I'm also interested in our new way of reality such as the new digital reality and it's relation and interaction with our physical reality. The virtual reality is becoming more and more real and there is a parallel with Eastern philosophies' consept of Maya, the illusion of this world. I am fascinated with the idea of subconscious effect of the art and I like exploring the ways of the impact. As of now I tend to minimalistic forms of expression, reducing the artworks to basic shapes and colors. I am inspired by really different forms of art and culture of various styles and times. But as of now one of my major sources of inspiration is abstract art of the beginning of the 20th century - Kandinsky, Hilma af Klint, Malevich, Piet Mondriaan, Paul Klee, Franz Marc. And abstract expressionism artists - Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, Cy Twombly, Lee Krasner.
