"Nessun luogo" Painting

Rita Perotti, self-taught painter and sculptress, was born in Naples in 1960 and grew up in Salerno, where she still lives and works. She begins her artistic training period in 1980, where she learns various painting and sculpture techniques in the stained glass and artistic ceramic workshop of the family. In '96 he moved away from this reality, feeling a strong desire to experiment in complete freedom: in the same year he created his own equipped laboratory, called "Antichi Riflessi", a real place of transparencies for the creation and display of her own works - not without crossing a long path that has allowed her to achieve unique and singular results. From this experience she draws original sculptures, partially or totally in glass, exclusive and of rare charm. In the field of ceramics, she produces numerous important works, distinguishing herself for her ability to synthesize aspects of reality but also to animate a world of introspection and subconsciousness. In fact, her works often seem to hide hermetic concepts but unfold slowly, especially with the appearance of the tactile phase, which is difficult to deprive of once reached. At the same time she begins to experiment with painting on canvas, mainly focusing on oil techniques, and in 2010 she begins to sell her works on the digital market, gaining considerable acclaim especially among collectors. Today, in fact, her works are part of private collections in various countries of the world including the United States, Holland, France, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain and England. She distinguished herself for the expression of aspects that are not purely figurative but almost abstract and, on certain occasions, even dreamlike with vibrant and penetrating chromatic shades, aimed at creating thoughts and reflections on the viewer. For Rita Perotti, art has always been a tool to represent her inner world: fantastic, dreamlike images prevail in her canvases and sculptures - of materials such as ceramics, iron, glass, wood and fabric - and extraordinary, overflowing with vitality and emotional tension.
