About The Artwork
This piece is one of the artworks I painted to capture the everyday life of people we can see around us day after day. I met this man on a train in Hungary. I had a conversation with him and before we said good bye to each other I asked him if I cloud take some photos of him. The title of the photograph was Portrait of a hard life. I tried to emphasize this hard life through his wrinkled skin and tired face. I used a traditional way of composition but the theme is about to criticize our society.
