A landscape painting, in the Ukrainian village where I was born, I often work outdoors there. I found this composition with the help of a camera. I often try to photograph the landscape and the photo does not reproduce reality, because the picture in our head (brain) is formed with the help of 2 "cameras" of the eyes, and the painting would disappear if it were a copy of nature. Therefore, a camera or photo helps me remember the moment when I took a photo, because when I click the camera, then I stand for a long time and try to enjoy the beauty of nature. Then, in the workshop, the photo helps with work, but the photo does not satisfactorily reproduce the perspective of the space, so it is only an additional help. I painted this picture in the studio. Materials: paper, acrylic varnish for protection. The paper is thick but is rolled into a tube with a diameter of 10 cm. or more. It is better to twist thicker paper into a larger diameter.

Ukraine
Mykola Kozlovsky is a Ukrainian contemporary artist who works in non-figurative painting. Born in 1994 in Stupnytsia village, Lviv region. Now lives and works in Lviv, Ukraine. Art education: icon painter, religious painting. Admiring the landscape from nature. I like to use the principle of three-stage painting in a modern way I was born and raised in a small, beautiful village, surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes. That's why I mostly paint landscapes in nature. The basis of my art is a harmonious composition, this is a common feature of any painting: from the Renaissance to abstraction. Color has the main importance in my art, I do not copy the colors of nature, but combine colors harmoniously as in nature. I rarely mix colors mechanically, but mix optically, or use pure color. The main source of inspiration for me is sunlight and forms of nature. My abstraction is based on the constant movement and change of matter in space and time. For example: a tree grows from a seed, grows under the influence of sunlight, ground, gravity, air, the tree becomes a whimsical, unpredictable shape This tree is a sign of its time. Then the tree dries up and dies, and becomes food for new plants that will go through the same cycle. This is the fate of all living things. I often observe this in nature, and it is the basis of my abstract perception. And that's why I believe that for me the form is the main thing and the content is secondary. And that's why I consider my paintings close to abstraction, but not pure abstraction. I draw on paper, cardboard, canvas; I use pencils, markers, acrylic, oil. I often combine acrylic and oil.
