Born in Cairo in 1991, emerging artist Rama Disuky started her art journey by studying fashion design in 2010. She then decided to quit the design field and study painting, a medium she could truly express herself with. Her artworks got exhibited in various group exhibitions in Cairo. Rama began a career as a mural painter in 2013, she worked on more than 10 mural projects around Cairo. Her work comes from expressing her struggles in life by creating surreal and imaginary scenes of her subconscious. The definition of her work is a balance between an emotional response and self expression.
