Painting: Acrylic, Oil, Chalk, Gouache, Charcoal on Canvas.
"O for Occasion" continues a cycle "Language is a virus", describing the language decomposition and creative possibilities it might bring. It was inspired by the novels of William Burroughs, especially The Ticket That Exploded where the language is considered to be a virus from outer space.
The symbol "O" which we normally consider as the letter or zero, taken away from its context and repeated an infinite number of times, loses an attributed significance and acquires a magic power and an infinite number of yet-to-be-catagolyzed significances.
