Octavia is a free spirit who enjoys good music. She lives a colorful life by dancing to her own tune. She has a big personality and is quite a day person despite being an owl. In her work, she creates imaginary safe spaces as a method of healing and coping with mental health. Her world is an escape from the harsh realities of adulthood. In the blank space on the canvas, she blocks out the responsibilities and anxieties of adulthood and replaces them with a colorful fantasy landscape. The stage is set with patterns, bright colors, and composition. By combining these elements the audience is transported to an altered Los Angeles where personified flowers and animals live and play.
