About The Artwork
One of my foremost influences in my body of work has been from Pablo Picasso, especially his work from the late 1960's and his use of shape, palette, and form. This dynamic piece aims to convey the sense of capturing a moment in time of Picasso's Vision in the destruction and construction of various elements of not only society but also perception and the play into his work. This piece contains a different material application of sawdust and gesso into the canvas to give a more rich and vibrant finish that plays against the particles of the dust for a unique signature finish.
