ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My interest with this painting was to paint just a small section of the Sydney Opera House, as such iconic architecture is instantly recognisable without the whole building being present. I like the angles and curves of the building and chose monochrome to keep the image simple and striking. This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame which has been fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity. The painting measures 12 x 9 inches (30.48 x 22.86 cm).
