About The Artwork
This painting is inspired by a place which I visit often in my morning walks. In this part of Spain there is a confluence between two Oceans, Atlantic and Mediterranean. Some days the sea is in calm, depending on the wind .But sometimes the sea is very raught. In this painting "Optimistic Calm " my intention is to catch the momento of calm, in a romantic sort of way, believing in the conection between nature and thinking.

I was born in Caracas- Venezuela in 1971. I moved to Spain in 1999, and developed my painting with a very personal style . I began experimenting with many techniques, and used acrilic and serigraphy on canvas , mixing many types of paint and media. It is now that I have focus in experimenting with acrilic and inks and how it behaves on the canvas , by pouring and mixing it to get diferent textures and efects. .
