About The Artwork

Image 18, THE ILLUSTRATED ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MADE-UP NATURE.
In which all the plants and animals that I discovered during the fictitious trip I took in the pandemic of two thousand
and twenty are described and depicted in the original colours and in which report is made of the area that I have visited.

The organs I have pictured here and below were taken from the carcass of an animal that I have not been able to identify during an autopsy. It was a large mammal, about the size of an adult horse and almost certainly a herbivore.
The organs all come from the inner part of the abdomen. I suspect they play a role in digestion. They are probably glands or other organs that produce substances that the animal needs to digest its food.
