About The Artwork

Technique: Acrylic / tempera / oil / natural pigments. Support: Wooden support frame (raw dmf 0.3 cm) prepared (hot glues). Size: 90 x 60 x 5 cm. Framing: frame 96 x 66 x 5 cm. Signature: signed at the bottom left. Within the series - Contemplating the garden - this painting in medium format, treated as a prufusion of brushstrokes as if it were a large format. It demands a control from me where the delicacy of the brushstroke is contrasted with the large lines of the large format. But this way of holding on has the charm of Subtlety and of using color in a delicate way to express what it feels like to face the empty frame, and where you feel you must fit what you want to express in order to be satisfied with what you want to do. . In this work the orchid flowers from which the stems are born mark the rhythm of the composition. The license that I allow myself when interpreting what I see, is a cure of humility and not pride, since trying to imitate the color of nature in any case is nothing more than audacity on my part, but because of my professional condition it is stronger the honest impulse to express publicly without shame what I feel.
