Our Lady Of Sparkle Motion Painting

Just when I was wondering if I was overdoing it with the shimmy-shim-shimmer with crystals on this painting, who would hit me up and give me a nod of acknowledgment and green light this, but none other than Jerry Saltz--world renowned art critic-at-large annnd of New York Magazine fame! So yes, there can never be too much shimmy shim shimmer nor whimsy, let alone those touches of strategically laced silver glitter on this painting. I think it may go double for my other ones, too. This was inspired by the famous line from the film, Donnie Darko: "Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion." I thought of that line and guffawed as I was trying to capture the interactivity of light and motion--the motion created by the viewer's movement--via a video. I have resorted to short video clips in order to show that beautiful light effect and exchange.The moral of this inspiration: go into the light, Wildly Creative, Beautiful People!
