About The Artwork
A modern reimagining of the Purim (Jewish Holiday) Story. This scene is based off of when Mordechai overheard the plotting to kill the King by the palace gate. I wanted to see what this story would look like set in a 20th Century setting in Miami Beach. Miami Beach during war times was filled with soldiers as it was a base, so the idea that an Elderly Jewish Man would pass by two soldiers talking by the beach is not far fetched. To further strengthen the story the two soldiers are based off of Nazis.
